Pada hari ini tanggal 29 April 2005, Pemerintah Jepang telah mengumumkan penganugerahan bintang tanda jasa THE ORDER OF THE RISING SUN, GOLD RAYS WITH NECK RIBBON kepada dua tokoh Indonesia, yaitu Bapak Drs. Enoch Amangku, mantan Asisten Khusus Presiden; dan Bapak R. Muhammad Hasan Rahaya, mantan Anggota Dewan Pertimbangan Agung (DPA), sebagai penghargaan atas jasa-jasanya yang sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan hubungan persahabatan Jepang - Indonesia.
