Goodwill Visit of JCG (Japan Coast Guard)’s Vessel to Jakarta

    JCG will conduct goodwill visit of the Patrol Vessel “RYUKYU” to Port of Tanjung Priok in Jakarta from September 7－13, 2006.

It is scheduled as follows : Tanggal : 7th Sep 2006 to 13 th Sep 2006

Base : 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters (OKINAWA pref.)

Depart from Japan

Arrive at Tanjung Priok (Pier 115)

Welcome Ceremony

September 10th

09:00 - 12:00

Open ship for Japanese people and media

 

(A special program is prepared for the journalists. Journalists are expected to be at pier 115 by 10:30 at the latest and please show the Press ID. Please note that we will not be able to receive journalists outside this scheduled time.)

September 11-12th

On-board training (DGST/Directorate General Sea Transportation, MP/ Marine Police)

September 13th

Depart from Jakarta (go to Manila)


Purposes of visit

  • Goodwill visit on Indonesia. (Making courtesy call and Exchanging information with DGST ,MP and so on. We’ll have a on-board training program with DGST, MP)

  • Capacity Building Exercise for Indonesian Maritime Officials
