Japanese Decoration for An Indonesian Dignitary

    The Government of Japan announces today 3 November 2006 that an Indonesian dignitary, namely Dr. Ir. H. Tb. Lily Satari, M.Sc., is to be conferred Japanese decoration The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbons in recognition of his meritorious services to the promotion of Japan-Indonesia relationship, particularly in the academic and personnel exchanges.


Specified information on the recipient of the decoration is as follows :

Dr. Ir. H. Tb. Lily Satari, M.Sc. (67 years)
Former Rector of Darma Persada University;
Presently Advisor of PERSADA (Association of Indonesian Alumni from Japan)


For his meritorious services of contributing to the promotion of academic and personnel exchanges between Indonesia and japan, and to the promotion of understanding on Japan.
