Outline:
The objective of the project is to mitigate the tight power supply situation and improve the stability of power supply in the Java-Bali power system by developing steam sources for geothermal power generation and expanding the geothermal power plant (additional capacity: 60 MW) in West Java. This will lead to an improved investment climate and thereby contribute to economic development in Java Island. In addition, harnessing renewable energy will help reduce adverse impact on the global environment. This loan funded the engineering service for preparing the detailed design of the project.
