Outline:
The objective of the project is to promote national and regional socioeconomic development, improve governance, appropriately manage and develop natural resources and conserve the environment. The project consists of improving the basic spatial data of Sumatra Island, developing a network system which will allow the sharing of national geo-spatial data across the country and supporting the preparation of an efficient regional development plan in some region (Sulawesi island) that makes use of such data. The project is due to be completed in 2014. Special Terms for Economic Partnership (STEP) has been applied to this project.
