1. The Chairman of the Joint Staff Council of the Self-Defence Forces, Defence Agency of Japan, General Hajime Massaki, is scheduled to visit Jakarta and Banda Aceh from 1 to 3 February 2005.
2. General Massaki is scheduled to have a meeting with TNI Commander-in-Chief, General Endriartono Sutarto, and with the Commander of the TNI’s Aceh Disaster Management Task Force, Major General Bambang Darmono, in Banda Aceh. He will also make an inspection of the activities of the members of the Japanese Self-Defence Forces who are now assigned for relief works in Aceh.
3. The itinerary of the Chairman of the Joint Staff Council of the Self-Defence Forces is as follows :

10:00 | To leave the air base of TNI Air Force Halim Perdanakusum (by JSDF Air Force U-4) |
12:45 | To meet with TNI Commander-in-Chief, General Endriartono Sutarto at VIP room, Iskandar Muda Airport, Banda Aceh |
15:00 | To meet with the Commander of the TNI’s Aceh Disaster Management Task Force, Major General Bambang Darmono. |
17:00 | To stay at JSDF Naval ship (arriving by JSDF Air Force helicopter) |

08:30 | To leave JSDF Naval ship, for the inspection of the location of the disaster by JSDF helicopter, the inspection of the location of the activities of the medical unit of JSDF Army |
