Prime Minister Koizumi to deliver a Message to President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono after One Year from North Sumatra Tsunami and Earthquake Disaster

1. Today, December 26 2005, which is a day after one year from the earthquake and tsunami disaster off North Sumatra coast, Junichiro KOIZUMI, Prime Minister of Japan has delivered a message to President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, to convey his deep condolence again over the victims of the disasters, and to hope the success for rehabilitation and reconstruction works of the damaged areas through Japanese assistance.

2. Mr. Yutaka IIMURA, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Indonesia is scheduled to attend the commemoration ceremony to be held by the Government of Indonesia in Banda Aceh today.
