Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship for In-Service Training for Teachers

The Japanese Government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology / MONBUKAGAKUSHO) offers the scholarship to Indonesian teachers who wish to study at universities (non-degree) in Japan from the academic year 2009 (October 2009) for one and a half year (includes a 6-month Japanese language training period).
Qualifications for the application are　as follows:

(1)

Applicants must be less than 35 years of age as of 1st April 2009

(2)

Applicants must be university or teacher training college graduates and must be teachers in active service of primary or secondary schools (including private schools) who have at least 5 years of experience in their terms of service as of 1st April 2009.

   Application forms are available at the Embassy of Japan and the Consulate General of Japan in Surabaya, Denpasar and Medan. Application forms are also available on the website of Embassy of Japan (http://www.id.emb-japan.go.jp/).
   The application must be directly submitted to the Embassy of Japan (Education Section) by 30th January 2009.
