Outline:
The Government of Indonesia has taken all necessary measures in order to prevent re-occurrence of terrorism attack like Bali bombing in 2002, and has announced its firm stance against terrorism to regain foreign countries' trust on Indonesia.

This project is to improve security facilities of major airports and seaports in Indonesia, by providing security equipment such as X-ray inspection systems, metal detectors, explosive detectors and/or CCTV systems at Soekarno-Hatta, Denpasar and other five airports, and three seaports of Tanjung Priok, Tanjung Perak and Batam. In addition to the provision of the hardware components, this project includes provision of soft components, such as current security system reviews, training of security personnel and dispatch of experts in order to strengthen overall security systems at the airports and seaports.
