Jakarta, 13 Pebruari 2004 Bantuan Jepang Untuk Bencana Banjir
(catatan)   Pada Minggu terakhir bulan Nopember 2003 yang lalu, terjadi banjir di Propinsi Riau yang melanda sekitar 35.186 rumah, 75 sekolah, 65 mesjid serta merusak 85 jembatan.   Pada minggu pertama Desember 2003, terjadi banjir di Propinsi Jambi yang melanda sekitar 5.752 rumah, 321 sekolah, 70 puskesmas/ klinik, 45 mesjid serta merusak 7 jembatan. Dilaporkan 6 orang meninggal dalam bencana banjir tersebut.   Untuk keterangan lebih lanjut, silahkan menghubungi Kedutaan Besar Jepang di Indonesia, dengan Bapak Wakabayashi Takahiro. ![]() ![]() Jakarta, February 13, 2004 Japan Assists Projects for Flood Relief     The Japanese government has decided to provide grant assistance up to US$ 82,294 (approximately Rp. 660 million) to Riau and Jambi provincial disaster and IDPs management implementing units (Satkorlak) in the form of 20 rubber boats for the flood relief purpose on 13th February. This assistance is a response to the natural disaster occurred in those two provinces last November and December 2003 where thousands of people were suffered from the floods. This assistance is also expected to assist Satkorlak to respond to future natural disaster promptly. (Note)   In the last week of November 2003, the floods in Riau province affected 35,186 household, 75 schools, 65 places of worship, damaging 85 bridges. In the first week of December 2003, the floods in Jambi province affected 5,752 household, 321 schools, 70 health centers/clinics, 45 places of worship, damaging 7 bridges.
