Jakarta, March 2nd, 2005 1. The Government of Japan has decided to dispatch 2 engineers of NPA (National Police Agency of Japan) to CEC in Indonesia as JICA experts from 7th to 24th of March for the purpose of extending technical cooperation, to strengthen the capacity in criminal forensic techniques for analyzing seized computer data. 2. The eradication of corruption is one of the most important tasks of the President Yudhoyono and the Government of Japan intends to assist such efforts by the President. 3. The Government of Japan will also privide CEC with equipments for data analysis (worth about 3.6 million Yen, approximately US$ 34,000). By the provision of this equipment, the Government of Japan will assist CEC in their further efforts on the basis of above-mentioned technical cooperation to eradicate corruption.   |
