Japan to Provide Yen Loan Assistance to Indonesia
(Continuing Support for Economic and Fiscal Reform)

1.The Government of Japan has decided to provide Yen Loan assistance to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, totaling up to ¥18.586 billion (approximately US$190.02 million or Rp2,270.84 billion) for the Fifth Development Policy Loan and the Infrastructure Reform Sector Development Program (Ⅱ) to support Indonesia’s efforts for economic and social development.
Notes to this effect were exchanged on March 24 in Jakarta between Mr. Takio Yamada, Charge d’Affaires ad interim of Japan to the Republic of Indonesia, and Mr. Y. Kristiarto S. Legowo, Director for East Asia and Pacific Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
The project titles and maximum amounts are as follows:

2. The outlines of the projects are as follows
(1) Fifth Development Policy Loan
This loan aims to support reform efforts of the Government of Republic of Indonesia including the areas of investment climate, governance, poverty alleviation in the form of co-financing with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
(2) Infrastructure Reform Sector Development Program (Ⅱ)
This loan aims to support reform efforts of the Government of Republic of Indonesia to accelerate infrastructure development in the form of co-financing with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
3. Loan conditions are as follows (both for project 1 (1),(2)):

: 15 years (including a grace period of 5 years) |
